I’m very excited about the next book: The loneliest girl in the universe. First of all, look at that shiny cover. It’s so pretty! Mostly when the words: universe, planets and space are used in a book title I’ll pick it up. Same happend to me in the bookstore when I read this title.
The book is written by Lauren James.
The story (no spoilers)
Romy is the only member who survived a tragedy on a spaceship. Since she was born and raised on this ship, she has never been on planet earth. She’s not even 20 years old, but has full responsibility over the ship and it’s mission. The goal of this mission is to establish a new home for humanity on another planet. Romy has 1 contact on earth. That all changes when earth launches a new spaceship with a boy called J on board. They communicate with each other via email, while his spaceship gets closer to hers everyday. They both can’t wait to finally meet, because their feelings are getting stronger.
But will J be who Romy expects him to be?
My opinion
I really love this book! The story is super original and has so many unexpected twists, it left me confused sometimes.
Conclusion
I give this book 4 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed reading it so much!
