I hope everyone who somehow celebrated Halloween had a blast and enjoyed spooky season.
This month was not a great month for me. I’ve lost a dear friend of mine and having to say goodbye to one of your loved ones is something I fortunately never had to do before. I know she’s in a better place now and that’s a thought that keeps me going.
Though this month was very hard for me there were still lots of things I enjoyed. A lot of my favorite artists released new music and that’s something that genuinely makes me so happy!
Bea Miller released her new EP called Elated! including this amazing single. I don’t know what it is about Bea’s music, but every song has my full attention. I just love whatever vibe she brings to the music industry. I don’t know how else to describe what it is that makes her music so refreshing…
I had to be very patient for this book because something went wrong in the shipping process and I had to wait 3 more weeks for it to arrive. But it is here and it’s very beautiful! The way the graphic design and the poems merge into each other is amazing to see. I can learn a lot from this and it’s truly inspiring to me.
Instead of sharing a movie with you I wanted to share this amazing song by Demi Lovato. As you probably know the voting for the new president of the United States is in full swing which is why Demi released this new song. When you listen to the text you can feel the pain of the people suffering from choices their current leader Trump has made. I think it’s so powerful and beautiful and overall a very important message.
Here it is againnn, some inspiration from my Tumblr page. I just really like this little doodle. In art school you’re constantly doubting yourself and your art because there’s so many people that are a hundred times better than you (which is fine!) So I see this as a great little reminder and I send it to my friends when they’re doubting themselves.
I hope you all have a wonderful November and that you and your loved ones stay healthy and safe. ♥
Don’t forget to take care of yourself. And like my friend who sadly isn’t here anymore constantly repeated in her last few weeks: “Stay true to yourself and your feelings. I try to do that especially during these challenging times. I hope you get to do that as well.
